I find this so stupid that I'm doubting the validity of the information. I was hoping it would cite The Onion as one of its sources. That way we could have a good laugh. How can any animal fat be a better alternative to petroleum? Specially since it will take lots of fossil fuels to raise the animals needed for the fat. That doesn't even take into account the land needed and environmental impact of so many animals. And there's the ethics of killing so many more animals. Stupid doesn't even begin to describe this use for animals. I know they are talking waste but once money is involved someone will find a way to make a buck no matter where the fat comes from.
