Was anyone in that thread claiming that the API had gotten worse? A lot of people were suggesting to use the API rather than the ChatGPT interface in order to avoid the degradation.
- wg0 3y agoHas OpenAPI themselves announced or someone has objectively and verifiably proved that the UI and API invoke two different models?
- sebzim4500 3y agoNot directly, but the model version displayed in the UI changes every week or so while the api version has apparently been stable.
