The simple fact that AGI, Skynet, Blade Runner, Westworld, etc. are in the conversation with a bunch of programs using tensors to analyze data points. I guess every time I do a general relativity calculation, Mathematica is alive too. The whole Prometheus/Pandora's box/Apple imagery associated with this is entirely hype. They are interesting tools and I use them, but they aren't coming to kill us.
