Not sure about the term but I would have assumed northern Europe is Scandinavian countries and they have ground heat, water and nuclear. France already has plans for more nuclear. We Germans might have issues but let's see what this really means in the next 20 years. We have a huge gas network and every sun hour will keep those storage tanks full for longer and it should be predictable enough to get good prices
