There was all the other stuff about mistreating employees and misuse of company funds.
- henriquez 3y agoFor the board of any nonprofit to fire the organization’s founder and star employee means either a) the star employee did something very bad, or b) the board is corrupt as hell. Given that James O’Keefe was Project Veritas’ main source of revenue and we’re heading into another election cycle I’m going to go with b) and assume 2/3rds of the board members got “D.C. Book Deals” and the lawsuit is bullshit. Seriously, you don’t have to agree with the guy’s politics to see how ridiculous this is, especially given the timing.
- bootlooped 3y agoI think the explanation that adheres to Occam's Razor is that he was just an awful person to work for or with, and he abused his privilege as founder. That's not a difficult thing for me to believe.
