I routinely get inquiries about my domains, and most of them are so one-sided and cagey, it's obvious they'll be a waste of my time. Not everyone feels the way I do, but if you want to buy a domain someone already owns, it doesn't hurt to start with a serious offer from a real address with full contact details.
