It's not exactly Gibbons' The Rise And Fall Of Ancient Rome, is it.
- rags2riches 3y agoThough Gibbons' famous work comes in six volumes and covers more than a millenium of history, the rise of the Roman Empire was outside its scope. It was titled The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.
