Is anyone doing real work with Pascal these days? I would like to write something modern (e.g. perhaps some computer vision code) in Pascal. Pascal was the language where I had my first epiphany of how programming abstractions worked and I fell in love with programming. This after a quarter of programming in Fortran 77 which made me hate programming. Then came Turbo Pascal and the IBM PC and I was fully hooked. I haven't programmed a stitch of Pascal in over 30 years, but I would like to see how productive I could be with it now.
