It’s not the sad isolating culture leading to cars it’s the reverse. Who wants to sit outside with cars driving nearby?
- achileas 3y agoI'm in Boston, which is very walkable but have lived on major arteries and busy neighborhood roads. We still hang out on our porch with our neighbors all the time, as do lots of people here. It has nothing to do with vehicular traffic.
