My apartment complex has a hot tub. I spent many nights there meeting a few neighbors. From there, some of us played Pickleball. I started noticing a few other neighbors playing, so I started a group chat. Now a bunch of us play 2-3 times per week and the group is growing There’s a local developer community that hosts meetups every month that I’m a part of. They also have a slack group I’m in a slack spiritual group. I don’t really care about the spiritual aspect, it’s kind of interesting, I guess. They’re just very thoughtful interesting people and now some of my closest friends
