This is at Border Patrol Interior checkpoints. At which you are not required to do anything except stop and ask them to let you leave.
- chasd00 3y agoCan confirm. I’ve been through a number of those checkpoints in SW Texas. You stop they ask a question or two and then you’re waved through. I’ve never been asked to show ID. On one occasion they did have a dog walk around the car but I think that is done randomly. /before people ask: I’m white my wife is Mexican.
