Unfortunately Amazon cancelled the Smile program earlier this year, didn't they?
- tracker1 3y agoHmm... yet another reason I may just cancel and give Walmart and others more consideration.
- SV_BubbleTime 3y agoPot/kettle. You win in neither of those scenarios.
- tracker1 3y agoNot saying I do... it sucks in general and is largely a race to the bottom in every case.
- Zetice 3y agoWalmart's brand of corporate Koolaid also happens to be good for customers, as that's their market differentiator.
- kelnos 3y agoNot great for Walmart's employees, though. Which is similar to many objections against using Amazon. (No moralizing here, though... I use Amazon pretty frequently, even though I know how poorly they treat their warehouse employees and delivery drivers.)
- Zetice 3y agoInfinitely better for Walmart’s employees than Amazon is for its employees…
- acdha 3y agoKind of - Walmart stuff is lower quality so while it’s cheap at the time of purchase you buy more frequently and spend more long term. Many people can’t afford to do otherwise but I’m not sure I’d describe it as good.
- tracker1 3y agoCompared to what? Amazon has just as many or more knock off products and every Amazon basics product I've tried has been worse by a wide margin. They both sell make brands as well.
