I don't think I'm really the best at anything, just try to be the best I can be at a few things. Instruments are what I work on doing natural science for the most part. Sometimes do an equation or two. Getting better all the time but I don't do it competitively. Always known I'll never reach the top. That's not where I'm going. More like a mountain range better for me to behold from a ways back, rather than a peak to ascend. There's always somebody having similar drive to OP who is closer to the top of most summits. So many hills nobody is even climbing that look interesting if I get a wild hair. Wouldn't have to go as high if I took the chance. Only a radical stroke of fortune could put something really big within the realm of possibility. Best results for me have come by refraining from seeking eminence. Make more progress that way.
