GNUCash (which I also use btw) is a local install without multi-user web management. If you're a single person working on the taxes then GNUCash may tick all boxes (although another comment mentioned the need for inventory management which GNUCash doesn't support). It looks like this offers more of a web approach without the need for a local install so it can be a bit more collaborative. Also - and this is personal preference - the GNUCash UI feels quite dated.
