The "final" SCO suits were only settled in November 2021 and in fact, the group which inherited SCO Linux has filed brand new suits in 2021 as well[0]. Note that SCO went bankrupt a decade before their lawsuits were wrapped up. The legal action was ongoing for 19 years. Something to remember when there's a potential you may have to fight someone with deep pockets, regardless if you're in the right.
