I also got into Lua mostly through LÖVE 2D (there’s also LÖVR for 3D with a similar API, but different devs). I’ve made a few small games using these frameworks in the past and as a hobby plan to continue making games with these frameworks, it’s fun! Harvard also has a nice course on game dev with LÖVE 2D and Unity, CS50.
