I doubt it. It's the dream of the 1950s.
Flying cars waste a lot of energy in that whole "defying gravity" thing. It's sort of just the continuation of the dream of "I can travel when and where I want, because there's no meaningful cost of fuel or emissions to care for."
Our best hope is more integrated transport models; maybe electric vehicles with a few dozen kilometres range, because their primary purpose is last-mile travel once people leave far-more-efficient rail networks.
