Are you not defacto by law anyway?
- jitl 3y agoI don’t think so, but haven’t consulted with a lawyer about it. My googling about “common law marriage” and “domestic partnership” didn’t turn up much that supports that claim in the US. Only a few states have “common law marriage” and California, New York, and Florida aren’t among them.
