The biggest advantage of the Switch is immersive portability. The Steam Deck is great, I own both - but the Switch is less bulky and has simpler software, making it very pick-up-and-play.
A gaming PC is incomparable on those metrics.
- imiric 3y agoPortability is no longer an issue with the recent AMD Phoenix APUs. They're powerful enough to emulate the Switch in much higher quality, and in a comparable portable device with low heat output and power requirements.
- yunohn 3y agoCould you link such a device? It should be portable like the Switch, not the Deck.
- dingledork69 3y agoThe deck is portable like the switch.
- yunohn 3y agoI own both of them - the Switch is way more portable, easy to handle, and hassle-free compared to the Deck.
