HTTP: //AI
Fun fact: the .ai TLD (http://ai) works by itself, although Hacker News (and probably lots of other things) won't accept it as a valid URL.
- borissk 3y agoHmmm, what do you mean by work? http://ai http://ai doesn't open in a browser for me, while http://offshore.ai/ http://offshore.ai/ does work.
- sts153 3y agoNot anymore
- AmIDev 3y agoAll tlds can be used as valid domain name. So you can have http://com/ http://com/ or bob@com email id. Turns out they are prohibited for new gTLDs. https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/new-gtld-dotless-domain-names-prohibited-30-8-2013-en https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/new-gtld-dotl...
- tlb 3y agoBrowsers won't resolve it, but you can `dig ai.` and go to the IP address http://209.59.119.34 http://209.59.119.34 Also: http://ai./ http://ai./ works (at least in Safari)
