NO generation ever has (or has had) it any easier. When you take all the variables into account, things have been remarkably consistent (difficult!) over hundreds of years. If the Millennials lived life such as was practised in the 50s, they too would be 'rolling in dough'. Those cheap Boomer houses? Know why they were cheap? They had little insulation, they had maybe one or two electricity outlets per room, they often had very little or none in the way of electronic controls. Internet? Wassat? Cable TV? Wassat? Color TV? Wassat? If the Boomers lived life such as was practised in the 20s, they would be looking at houses with no phones, maybe no running water, maybe no electricity at all, maybe no commodities such as milk and meat that were available without a trip to town in the horse and buggy. These difficult times today? At some point in the future, these will become "the good old days".
