I actually sort of enjoyed the lockdowns, but I have a job that I can do from home and I’m not a particularly social person. Pretending that they didn’t or couldn’t have harmed other people - significantly - is arrogant.
- tomrod 3y agoPretending to no effect whatsoever of lockdowns on people would be arrogant. I'm glad we agree. It's also not what the parent commentator said, when they point to lockdown as the root cause (not a cause) of the 5% increased death rate. The activity you labeled as arrogant is denying the antecedent to what the parent and my comment said.
- peteradio 3y agoOP said "a" root cause not "the" root cause. Few things have a single cause.
