I was thinking a lot since writing this. The thing is my house is low rent because it's far off, my car is old and has over 300k km. It's was a very consciously decision to get here. Nothing is of value, the actual value is the conscious decision of going against the main stream, taking some risks to get to place we actually can enjoy. It's materialistic in a obvious way, but it's not about materialistic value.
