Developer team on The Lord of the Rings: Gollum apologize for its release state
- senttoschool 3y agoI'm very curious about who greenlit this game and thought it would sell well. It's a game with the player playing Gollum. Not Legolas or Elrond or Sauron or Morgoth or just about any other LotR character - but Gollum. I'm guessing that the publishers lost confidence in the game's ability to sell and just told the dev team to wrap it up and release it in any state.
- BulgarianIdiot 3y agoIt all depends on the gameplay and execution. Green-lightining something and then "losing confidence" is probably the worst of all options.
