Hey, just an idea here. Win xp DDK is usable. Patching XP is still possible without MS's involvement. No driver signing. It's not legal but a binary fork of XP can be a thing. And I sure as heck prefer XP over KDE5 or GNOME<whatever>. Perhaps there is still hope for those of us not attached to ideolology,corporations or the whims of popular FOSS project leads. Just let the outcome be fabulous.
