Talk to any God you want
- malcolmf 3y agoI standardized a couple queries to open AI so that you can talk to a variety of different gods and prophets as depicted by their respective holy books. It's kind of cool to hear their responses!
- gus_massa 3y agoI tried a few questions. When I press the "speak" button, it takes a while to get the answer (not too much, half a second). It would be nice to show a spinning thing to show the page is retrieving the new answer.
- schoen 3y agoThere's a mistake in the drop-downs in describing Jesus Christ, Mark, or Luke as part of the Torah. Jews and Christians disagree about their role, but both readily agree that they're part of the Christian gospels, not of the Torah.
- dragonwriter 3y agoThere's also a mistake in describing God, Jesus Christ, Mark, and Luke (Whether in the Torah or the same exact set in the King James Bible) as prophets since neither Christians nor Jews generally identify those figures as prophets. (Of course, the page is titled “Talk to any God you want” and then makes you select a “Prophet” as the personality, so there seems to be some confusion as to the basic purpose.)
- malcolmf 3y agoInteresting. So in that case, are you suggesting I remove Mark and Luke as paart of the Torah?
- dragonwriter 3y agoDo Mark and Luke (or Christ, also listed there) appear anywhere in the Torah? Presumably, each figure involves prompting or training based on that figures words in the selected source, so how can figures that don't appear in the work even possibly be done? The fact that this is a question at all makes me have serious misgivings about the structure of the whole project.
