I would be interested to learn what affect hypoxia has on resting heart rate. Mice do not eat a Standard American Diet or now Standard First World Diet so their risk of CVD and hypertension is lower. Bonus if they also vape some nicotine while sipping their soft drinks. Can we get some mice eating first world foods for a few months then see if hypoxia exacerbates hypertension or tachycardia?
