Isn't that how owning a castle works? You have to pay for upkeep, so you might as well convert it into a museum and show it to visitors.

- em-bee 3y agonot quite. castles were usually built by their private owners, so most that are in private hands now, always were. they are still under protection though, so you can't just do whatever you want with them.
