I have a dream of my web-browser doing exactly this. If it would be possible with guaranteed possibility to be opened in any future, first what I do is buy an LTO for storing everything I see including videos and advertisements.
- bombcar 3y agoThere is a plugin I've seen that stores a page locally if you bookmark it, but the total bandwidth of "everything I've seen on the Internet" shouldn't be insanely high, especially if you have some form of deduplication and compression.
- anthk 3y agoThere's offpunk for Gemini and Gopher and there are several Gemini and Gopher proxies such as gopher://gopherddit.com and gopher://hngopher.com. For Gemini there are whole proxies with fully minified sites with images and everything for news, I can't remember it's name. With that and offpunk you can save tons of information with very little.
