Ask HN: How do I get into formal methods?

Ever since I learned about formal verification, I am hooked. I love specifications, I often cross-reference tuts with specs when I'm learning, and a spec actually saved one of my most beloved projects and has kept it clean and tidy as I want it to be. I also know that it's used in some industrial domains, which I would love to do since I also love industry. However, the uni I went to and graduated from had no formal methods and I don't know what I could do which could help me build some skills. I know about Z notation and how Coq works if that helps.
