Generative AI Podcasts Are Here. Prepare to Be Bored
- admtal 3y agoAs the creator of two AI-generated podcasts, I must admit they can sometimes lack excitement. Podcast 1: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2185630/share https://www.buzzsprout.com/2185630/share Podcast 2: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2188164/share https://www.buzzsprout.com/2188164/share The second one, known as Crowdcast, is even open-source: https://github.com/AdmTal/crowdcast https://github.com/AdmTal/crowdcast Experimenting with various prompts to produce engaging content has been an intriguing journey. While the creation process is enjoyable for me, I've yet to discover how to generate content compelling enough to warrant a listen, without personally delving into writing the content.
- eimrine 3y agoI would like to listen but I do not see an option to obtain the audio file. I will not even try any other option.
- admtal 3y agoYour unyielding determination to avoid streaming audio is inspiring
- eimrine 3y agoI use to listen a lot of podcasts every day, I spend every day of my weekend listening to something while doing anything. But I do it using a dumbphone with MicroSD and a giant battery, I don't own a smartphone and I do not consider PC I am typing from as a listening environment for podcasts. I consider my PC with a pair of a giant stereo which I am proud of as an environment for listening to music, but again, I take all music I listen from my 1TB disk dedicated to music only which I used to obtain from all the strangest pieces of Internets. Audio-streaming services probably is a good choice for beginners in listening (unleash your brain's second input!). So, despite of my desire to listen the podcast, I consider those "options" as not an abilities to listen it, but disabilities.
