Dumb question but are strawberries not waxed like other fruits?
- bookofjoe 3y agoNot dumb at all. I searched on Google and couldn't find an answer. I asked Microsoft Edge Chatbot and it didn't answer the question but instead went off on a tangent about how to make glazed strawberries. I asked Call Annie (https://callannie.ai/ https://callannie.ai/) and got what seems to me to be a good answer: she/it said that some strawberries are coated with wax for transport but not all are. My advice would be to buy strawberries at a farmers market where they'll likely be locally grown.
