We have an ape-to-human communication (Koko) and this is a huge success in researching animal's mind. I would like to do an animal-to-animal communication but with computer-in-the-middle. I have an expectation that top notch birds (parrots/corvus) can do this and I am going to have a really smart birds somewhere in future as pets. But before I am ready to live with that notoriously hard species I would like to start a trial-and-error process with easier species. I have no expectations of breakthrough result with easier species but I definitely have expectation of some result with dogs or chicken because I use to live with them for decades and probably I can make them to produce some results.
