Show HN: Find alternatives to a GH repo by replaceing “github” with “libhunt”
- quickthrower2 3y agoGreat idea! You should definitely make links to your own site clickable in the 3 examples.
- stanislavb 3y agoThanks. You are the second person suggesting this. It was intentionally left this way, so that people could try it out themselves.
- quickthrower2 3y agoI thought that might be the reason. Just that on mobile that is less convenient.
- rymawby 3y agoYes I felt the same - if I was on desktop it would’ve been ok but I’m on mobile and it opened up the GitHub app. Love the concept though and can definitely see myself using the site.
- KomoD 3y agoThis, it just wastes time and is a bit annoying.
- evnix 3y agoI usually have to search for the GitHub or original website link in all of these alternatives websites. In most cases, I have to open a new tab and Google the name, They just don't let you leave. Libhunt is probably the nicer ones. Please ensure it doesn't head in that direction.
- stanislavb 3y agoThanks. It will not.
