Trusting companies to "get it right" on their own and act in the best interest of peoples' safety leads to unnecessary deaths. Seriously, back when seatbelts were invented car manufacturers were almost completely against it. They lobbied against regulations to implement them. Luckily, at the very end of the video, it's actually revealed that a couple of months ago the new regulations were put into action (about a decade late)
