Granted, this guy's cover letter is not going to win him the job. But "Send us your resume! We'll post it on our web site and make fun of it! And your grammar, even though ours is not completely correct either!" is not going to win this company applicants, either.
- edw519 18y agoGood catch. Perhaps this article should be retitled, "How to Not Show Class when you are Recruiting."
- auston 18y agoPerhaps, or possibly "How discourage self-entitled leeches from applying to your company".
- alaskamiller 18y agoI don't see how you can label people looking for jobs to be leeches. PS. It just hit me after staring at this post for a minute that leaches isn't even the right spelling. Wow, I need coffee.

- fallentimes 18y agoThey still aren't leeches. Edit: It just hit me that I copied Alaska Miller's spelling. I need pizza.
- auston 18y agoThanks for the correction.
- hugh 18y agoYou don't seem to like this "self-entitlement" thing. Don't you think it's also a little "self-entitled" to expect great people to be excited about the opportunity to work for you, without caring about the so-so salary?
- potatolicious 18y agoEntitlement is only a problem if the expectation is unrealistic. Seems like the company is the one with entitlement problems in this case - expecting to find such a qualified candidate without offering the appropriate pay that is typical of someone of that caliber.
