Even without the extra wedding cost, retail prices on food and wine are going to be cheaper than going to any venue that is hoping to profit on those things. We got our champagne at trader Joe's for 6 bucks a bottle.
- DiscourseFan 3y agoFair enough, commodity fetishism should always be avoided; but I myself plan to spend a little more than $6 a bottle on champagne at my wedding.
- schwartzworld 3y agoA proper wedding venue or restaurant will charge you $30 for that same $6 bottle, so I guess that's a choice you could make.
