Very cool, looking forward to seeing more integration with the IDE for debugging (eg: serial interface monitors, register watches, interrupt control, logic trace analyser etc).
I've been using PlatformIO [1] (albeit with C++) in VScode, it would be a good DX baseline for a comparison.
