This feels more like a trust problem than an android problem. Android and iPhone both indicate when mic is active, but this app is supposed to access mic. Should this have been catched by store review? I don't think it's possible to catch them all given the number of apps updated every day and how easy it is to sneak in something past store QA (for example it could be activated after a certain time or from a remote server). The stupid part of this is that Android has had a built-in screen recorder for ages.
