Ask HN: Can a subpoena be used to compel a company to collect future data?
Specifically, if previously x data wasnt collected, can a subpoena be used to compel the company to implement collection?
- bell-cot 3y agoYou so, SO need to ask a lawyer on that. One who is deep in the relevant legal specialties, in your jurisdiction, etc. And be prepared, at least mentally, for a complex and conditional answer.
