My personal laptops, workstations, and servers (all pets of course) have the following names, in no particular order:
tron, finch, wintermute, sparrowhawk, axolotl, rook, moneta, mengpo, odessa, ithaca, turing, lovelace
- linker3000 3y agoI had a small DC at work that included Turing and Lovelace, plus: Wilkes, Babbage amd Hopper.
- vincent-manis 3y agoMy home wifi SSID is Marsnet, and my machines are all named after Martian surface features. So there's olympus and pavonis, arcadia and xanthe, and so on. I'm typing this on syrtis-major. I'm hoping not to run out of surface features.
