Just think of the kind of boss, and your relationship to them, you might have in that new role, and also the colleagues and customers. Of course some of that depends on the actual company, even branch, but a surprising amount is endemic, uh, inherent to particular industries. In my experience a large part of the job experience is 'other people'. The most fulfilling work can be made a hell by a bad boss, and the most mundane tasks elevated by interesting colleagues, etc. And also, about people you work with; you will become them, in some small (or large) way.
