I think you've identified a key problem with the scene. Without the hype, there is no product.
- BulgarianIdiot 3y agoThere is, kinda. Bitcoin is excellent for tax avoidance, bribery, digital blackmail (crypto malware), racketeering, drug trade and other trade of illegal services and products (say sex trafficking, or ordering a hit on someone). The trick is that Bitcoin is a tool for trade in all these examples. Not a tool for investment. The "investors" are just the product. Their purpose is to provide liquidity and mask the illegal activity.
