Anyone else used to pronounce it “en-ginks”? It wasn’t until I started working as a web developer that I learned the truth. And it took me a minute to piece together that “engine X” was the same thing.

- andersrs 3y agoI say Engine X. Enjinks is cute. As long as you don't say "you-buntu" we can be friends.
- chungy 3y agoI still do. It's hard to force myself to read it as "engine x"; "n-jinks" just looks like the natural way.
