France has so far cut its emissions by 25 percent compared with 1990 levels, requiring major fresh efforts if it is to hit the new 50-percent target.
That is actually pretty good progress, but I assume they are not counting the emissions built in to their imported goods...
- ZeroGravitas 3y agoThe EU has just agreed to start taxing those emissions, with carbon border fees so in a very real sense they are counting them.
