Neither should we let species die off deliberately because we currently assume climate change will threaten their habitat. We do not know. We have the power to shape climate change to some extent. The trees might migrate all by themselves. We could possibly find a new habitat. "Ah, fuck it, it's hard" isn't the answer here.
