Which banned communities are you referring to? I can't recall any ban wave targeting anything other than content most would consider to be hateful or bullying.
- wmnj 3y agor/gendercritical, r/menwinningwomenssport, r/truelesbians, r/actualwomen, r/terfisaslur, etc.
- iamacyborg 3y agoAh so when you say "women-focused" community what you meant to say was "anti-trans" communities. Those aren't communities I ever looked into but I can imagine the sort of content that got posted there, see my comment above about hateful or bullying content.
- wmnj 3y agoSo you never looked into these communities, yet you're painting them as "anti-trans" despite having never read a single post or comment? That seems to be a rather fact-free analysis. If you had even just casually browsed them you'd see these were subreddits created by women, for women, and focused on the rights of women to have female-only spaces. And that is why they were banned.
