The Web Will Die (2001)
- rektide 3y agoCorrect predictions about what the internet would become. But it was the web. But we have not seen a single remotely interesting competing protocol with anywhere near the seed of possibility the web has brought. Everything else interactive has remained just an application, just code; too complex to be internetworked, just code, not protocols or data. The web remains the only deep medium of the internet.
