Interesting I'm going thru a similar situation. I have 11 years of code experience, but I have little to no desire to be a senior developer. The crazy thing is I have 20 years and combat experience in leadership. So being on a software management team would easily be a walk in the park. I have had a few interviews, with a re-polished resume.
