You can select the text in each message and, from the pop-up menu, tap on "Speak".
If you mean for text input, that can also be accomplished via native iOS functionality.
I also tested Whisper, but imo it's not really usable on an iPhone (at least, not yet). Initial reports of the official ChatGPT app mention excessive battery usage and the device getting hot when using Whisper.
- tmikaeld 3y agoI've tried automations that call the api directly from Siri, but it's barely useful because it's only a single-question single-response conversation.
- tagyro 3y agoI'm working on adding Siri intents - something like activating Siri and saying "Ask AKME ..." and AKME would return to answer to Siri, which would read it out loud - but I don't have an ETA yet.
